2. Centralized Data Storage

The brain of every Core Business Solution is housed in a Network Attached Storage (NAS) unit. This device is the repository of critical data which, unlike a traditional file server, allows many different users to access data simultaneously. Access to the information on this unit is easily controlled by the system administrator through user-friendly software. This allows you to keep critical data from all departments in one place, thus removing the potential of data loss, due to a PC failure or personnel change.
IPLS Consulting uses EMC’s Iomega NAS units in its CBS line of products. EMC is recognized as the premier manufacturer of data storage hardware in the technology industry. A higher quality product cannot be found. Every NAS unit in our CBS platform comes with the capability to run defined automatic data backups for each attached computer. In case of a computer crash, your data is not lost. Every NAS in our CBS line also replicates data within the unit. This gives you access to your stored data even in the unlikely event of a disk failure within the NAS itself. Once your environment is backed up to your NAS unit, it is simple to take your security one step further. With critical data in one place, a simple off-site back-up can be set up from this single point, for true Disaster Recovery Security. If everything else goes away, your data is still recoverable.

3. Networking

Whether you have 2 users or 300 users, networking capability among users in your network is critical to the efficiency of your business. IPLS Consulting’s CBS line of products uses Dell PowerConnect switches to ensure fast accurate data transfer within your environment and creates a single gateway from your network to the outside world.
